The Australian and New Zealand Boutique Wine Packaging Awards
Inaugural Boutique Packaging Awards Results
After five years of the successful Boutique Wine Label Design Awards, in 2008 the show was elevated to include New Zealand boutique wine companies in competition against their Australian counterparts.
Riedel sponsored each of the five winners with a magnificent crystal decanter trophy.
The show now includes a new Class 1.- The Whole Story which asked for examples of the full range of marketing materials. This win attracts a $5000 package of display advertising with The Sydney Morning Herald. The best spark, white, red and dessert bottle also compete against each other for the $5000 production prize awarded by Clear Image.
The Awards Chairman Lisa McGuigan commented “We were pleased that New Zealand entered the show with such gusto – the standard set by both countries was excellent and has promised even greater competition for 2009”.
All winners of the awards will be on display at Restaurant 08 during 10 and 11 August 2008 at the Association of Australian Boutique Winemakers stand.
