The Association of Australian Boutique Winemakers

The Boutique Wine Awards application forms will be on this home page at the end of February and the final closing date for samples and forms is 25 May. Huon Hooke will Chair the awards for the 17th year.

Application Forms and Con Notes are now in circulation for Australia's Wine Industry Design Competition which we have developed from the original Boutique Wine Label Design Awards founded in 1998.

The comp' is open to all Australian wine companies regardless of size. There are open classes plus divisions regarding tonnage to cater for large and boutique wineries plus the exciting addition is the Designer's Choice class open to professional and student designers.

Lisa McGuigan will take the position of Chair of Judges, Craig George of CCL Clear Image is Deputy Chairman. The judging team includes Master of Wine Toni Paterson, wine writer and Editor Sue Bennett, OzeWine's Chris Osborne, Julie Vjadia of Tomkin, Chris Soares of Mainfreight, Scott Sharples of Crowther Blayne, Paul Shulte of the Keystone Group, Kate Meyer of Meyer Gourmet Foods and Louise Cole, Cambewarra Estate.
